About Me

A little something about me.

My approach is compassionate, non-judgmental, engaging and solution focused while peppered with a sense of humor.

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst. After completing my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology-Marriage and Family Therapy, I completed post graduate course work and training in Applied Behavior Analysis. This affords me the unique opportunity to provide evidence based therapeutic treatment while having the knowledge and training to assess and treat family functioning. Applied Behavior Analysis is supported by over 50 years of empirical research and is the gold standard for many state funded early intervention treatment programs.

My professional training and experience has allowed me the opportunity to gain extensive experience working in various settings providing individual and group therapy, family therapy, intensive in-home family therapy and behavioral therapy to children, adolescents and their families.

My areas of specialization include:treating individuals with anxiety disorders such as obsessive compulsive disorder, agoraphobia and specific phobias.

My past experience include extensive experience working with children and adolescents with developmental disabilities including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorders, depression, anxiety and ADHD.

In addition to this work, I have considerable experience providing professional consultation with other professionals including pediatricians, psychiatrists, psychologists, psychiatric inpatient staff, social workers, school personnel and Regional Center personnel.

Prior to launching my private practice, I owned and operated a successful behavioral health agency that served individuals and families throughout the San Fernando Valley and surrounding communities. In 2012, I sold my agency to a larger behavioral health organization. As a successful entrepreneur, I know firsthand the challenges that present when striving for home and work life balance.

Drawing on my professional and personal experience, I offer a diverse and practical approach to helping my clients attain the goals that they are striving for and live a happier and healthier life.

I hold professional affiliations with the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and the California Association of Behavior Analysts.

Please call or email me for a complimentary 15 minute consultation to discuss how I can be of assistance to you.
